Nativity Gala

Dear Parents, Parishioners and Friends,

The final results are in, and they are beyond what we ever could have imagined! The Nativity Gala 2011, held this past Friday at Salvatore's, raised an incredible $60,000 for the school. We also raised over $6,000 to fund the Teacher's Wish List, which will give them the opportunity to buy things for their classrooms that they normally would not have been able to purchase, to enhance our children's learning experience.

This gives us a great start to the year, and sets us up to be able to meet and possibly surpass our 2011-2012 fundraising goal. I would like to thank Tom and Lisa Burton for chairing the event, along with the entire Auction Committee, and the countless volunteers who made it all possible. So much work went into planning and running the event, and the results showed. It was an amazing evening with plenty of good food, entertainment, and being able to socialize with the greater Nativity community. At the next HSA meeting, to be held next Wednesday, November 16, at 7pm in the school cafeteria, we will be discussing the full details of the event, including what made it successful and how we can apply those successes to future fundraising projects. I hope you'll be able to join us.
