2011 Cash Raffle!

Final results are in!!!!

• The grand prize of $5,000 was won by Darryl Barowski & sold by the Bauer Family who will receive $500 for selling the winning ticket. Other prize winners:  

• We sold a total of 3,161 tickets which is 122% of our original goal of 2,600. We had great success with religious Ed (182 tickets sold), Church (236), and faculty (125) sales as well.

• The school families alone sold 2,558 tickets or 112% of the total originally distributed. Special thanks to the following families who sold MORE than their families share of tickets: Bauer, Bylewski, Suchyna (Kavitha & Don), Vaccaro, Jaskolka, Faso, Sturniolo, Erbacher, Capozzolo, LaDuca, Jellinick, MacDonald, Janson, Tackley, Gibson (Sandy & Paul), Hamilton (Sandy & Dan).

• Congratulations to the following grades who won pizza parties for achieving 100% of their sales goal: Kindergarten, 1^st, 2^nd, 4^th & 5^th. Special congratulations to 1^st grade for leading the entire school in sales with 209% of their goal. They will receive an Ice cream party as well.  Summary of sales by grade:

  • 1^st Grade –       209%  of goal
  • 2^nd Grade –      107% of goal
  • 3^rd Grade –       89% of goal
  • 4^th Grade –       114% of goal
  • 5^th Grade –       104% of goal
  • 6^th Grade –       82% of goal
  • 7^th Grade –       85% of goal
  • 8^th Grade –       65% of goal

• All dress down passes have been sent to the families that met their sales goal. If for some reason you did not receive passes for your children and did sell all of your tickets please let me know and I will arrange to get them out ASAP. You can contact me at rfaso@s1search.com.

• Last but certainly not least, thanks to the raffle committee / grade coordinators for all their hard work and effort over the last few months to make the raffle such a success (Michelle Bauer, Harold Erbacher (Knuck), Sam LaDuca, John Kleinmann, Kim Vaccaro, Paula Kolber, and Colleen Levea). A special thanks also goes out to Patsy Vincent our Director of Advancement who was always there to collect tickets and answer questions, Maureen Orgek the parish business manager for tracking the sales and money, and to Mrs. Ansuini who helped us out every step of the way.
